About Us
Crooked Halo Promotions are dedicated to bringing back the old skool but also providing a new twist by introducing current musical influences.
Originally formed by three old friends Lisa, Colin and Jamie, who were at some of the best raves and parties the UK had to offer from 1988 onwards. Through their love of music and the desire to re-create the vibe from days gone by Crooked Halo was formed. The first event was a homage to the club they met in and frequented for many years, The Slammer. This was a huge sucess and brought together friends old and new, young and old over 3 areas, and all profits donated to Macmillan Cancer.
The response was so good it has led to more events in the pipeline and a new partnership with Dr Kitch from Genetically Modified, and his team of Dj's, allowing Jamie/UK Fresh to concentrate on his career as a turntablelist worthy of winning DMC. Watch out for more news on this!
We have now secured our first residency at a wicked club in Kent providing a monthly Saturday night Old Skool vibe, watch out for more information coming soon.
